Reflection:

Entrepreneurship is hard. There is a mental, physical, and emotional cost. Now that you’ve had some time to reflect on what we went over, I want you to think long and hard about what it’s going to take to bring your visions to life. Many of us have aspirations of building national and international brands, myself included. However, we have to crawl before we can walk. What do we need to do to generate that first 100k in revenue? What are the daily, weekly, and monthly actions that are going to get us there. We need to be deliberate and intentional about every decision we make.

No one is going to do the work for us. That’s one of the reasons we pushed you so hard during the workshop. While networking is nice, getting work done is even better. There’s enough networking opportunities out there, but what separates the winners from the losers, is being prepared for success. Get the vision for your company on paper, develop your strategies and tactics. Start recruiting your teams and focus on execution! Entrepreneurship is very action oriented and I hope that we were able to at least help you generate momentum. The following are a couple of key books/resources to help improve your business acumen. If you want to own your own business, then it’s time to think and act like a small business owner.
